Alcoholic Architecture

“Breath responsibility”. CBY were lead fabricators for Bompas & Parr’s ‘Alcoholic Architecture’, the worlds first breathable cocktail bar. Located on the site of a former monastery, visitors to the bar could put on waterproof habits and enter a room where gin and tonic could be inhaled and absorbed through the skin.

CBY conducted a full interior fit-out; The furniture and elements we fabricated were heavily infused with gothic architectural elements, and lent the bar a medieval air. Bompas & Parr are experience designers specialising in immersive projects related to food and drink. The bar was open from August 2015 to July 2016.
