Christmas Tree
In 2017 CBY installed our periodic table Christmas tree at the Science Museum in London. Perspex panels with laser cut symbols and vinyl letters, were suspended using micro wires from a powder coated framework. The colours and finishes of Perspex helped to sort each element into material groups, while the position in the tree was dictated by mass with the heaviest occurring at the bottom and the lightest rising to the top.
